The 2015 Michigan Rehabilitation Code for Existing Buildings is here. This code, specifically for the state of Michigan, is based off the 2015 International Existing Building Code, published and created by the International Code Council. Staying up-to-date is extremely important changes in the construction industry, especially when it comes to existing buildings. With new codes comes new additions to the code and changes to materials and techniques. Sometimes this can save you money by the changes made, but most times it can save you money by not having to pay the fines by not adhering to the code by code enforcement agencies.
