About the publisher: The IAEI was created in 1928 in order to help interpret and help adopt the National Electrical Code and the Canadian Electrical Code. One year later they had 1,989 active members in the organization. Originally the training would occur over informal discussions, but as the membership and world-wide reach grew they started regular training sessions. The IAEI started to spread further than the US and Canada in 1969 where they grew to Japan. After that they expanded to Saudi Arabia (1981), Mexico (1997), and Korea (2002), to name a few. Overall they have expanded to 22 different countries.
