About the authors: Willis H. Wagner, Howard Smith, and Mark W. Huth have all been massive contributors to the world of carpentry. Willis H. Wagner is an honorary member of the Waterloo Technical Society and worked as a drafter and woodworker after graduating.  He graduated from the University of Missouri after earning his Masters in science and earning a bachelors of science from the Central Missouri State University.  Howard Smith worked in carpentry for several years but instead chose to focus more on magazine and textbook editing.  He is the author of Energy and the coauthor of Understanding Technology.  Mark W. Huth has worked as a carpentry instructor, consultant, and contractor over the years and has written several textbooks about print reading, construction math, and construction principles.
