Building Trades Printreading Part 3: Heavy Construction, Second Edition
In heavy commercial construction the biggest challenge in reading prints is the ability to combine print information from a variety of sources required for construction. This revised edition helps the user develop the skills necessary to interpret plans and provides printreading experience with elements commonly found on prints of large commercial structures.
A new chapter discusses a set of included plans detailing the Spokane Intercollegiate Research & Technology Institute. In addition, expanded sections covering removal of contaminated soil, tilt-up construction, engineered wood and exterior insulation and finish systems (EIFS), pre-engineered metal buildings, exit devices, and metal detectors are included.
